Dual-Polarized High-Isolation Antenna Design and Beam Steering Array Enabling Full-Duplex Communications for Operation Over a Wide Frequency Range

A new dual-polarized antenna and array are presented for In-Band Full-Duplex (IBFD) applications, offering high inter-port isolation. The single-element system consists of four H-shape slots, stacked patches wide bandwidth, two external hybrid couplers. multilayer is well matched from about 2.1 to 2.4 GHz provides isolation in this frequency range excess 60 dB. Two different prototypes simulated measured highlight the design process. In addition, a compact coupler with excellent phase magnitude stability also improved radiation IBFD performances. When compared other similar types systems, proposed configurations simple manufacture, provide higher bandwidth (10%), gain 7.3 dBi cross-polarization levels 30 dB or lower. was extended 2×2 studied beam steering feeding scenarios. operating bandwidths values offered by these S-band systems can support data link possibilities future low-cost wireless networks fabrication.
